About Last Light Lodge in Tuatapere near the Hump Ridge Track is providing accommodation, camping ground, restaurant and cafe all around the year, everyday! Story The aim is to be as self sufficient as possible over time, to create a warm, happy, safe, affordable, welcoming environment with cafe wine bar, accommodation, gardens and a passion for making life enjoyable, and making this a great gateway to the Fiordland national park and its surrounding natural wonders. Making a place where travelers can relax and meet Kiwis and where kiwis can relax and meet travelers. With a 500 sq meter cafe/ reception building, 22 rooms containing kitchenette, double bed and a couch bed in most, 2 communal social areas, 5 toilet blocks, 3 laundries, 10 tent sites, 10 camper van sites in spacious grounds and park like settings the complex is a little bit to big at the moment. Given time numbers should grow to a point where it feels vibrant, alive and inviting.
