About The Outdoor Adventure Shop is owned and operated by Ruggedy Range™ Wilderness Experience. We hire and rent outdoor equipment and clothing, books, cards. Story The Outdoor Adventure Shop sells and hires a wide range of outdoor clothing and equipment including: sleeping bags, raincoats, ponchos, rainpants, gaiters, pots, cookers, fuel, torches, hiking poles, thermal tops and pants, hats, gloves, insect repellant, water bottles, storage bottles, backpacks, daypacks and much more... We also stock maps of hiking trails, nature books, cards and photography. We are part of Ruggedy Range™ Wilderness Experience and also offer guided tours, water taxi services, road shuttles, cruises, kayaking and scenic road tours. You can find us at the Ruggedy Range™ Booking Office in the centre of Oban. Only 2 minutes walk from flight or ferry terminals and across the road from the Department of Conservation.
