About Home of A Local's Tail & Other Flicks Story "A Local's Tail" is a quirky 40 minute film about Stewart Island. Narrated by a local dog - Lola. The Bunkhouse Theatre is closed for the winter. While we are away DVDs of A Local's Tail can be rented or purchased at Stewart Island's 4 Square Supermarket. DVDs can also be purchased online from our website. We will be back Friday 20 October 2017. During the season (October - April) A Local's Tail screens daily at 11am, 2pm & 4pm. Group bookings are also available at other times during the season.
