About Blood Good Brew Co Ltd took over where Invercargill Brewery left off as Invercargill's only indie brewery and off-license - home to Asylum Venue Story Invercargill Brewery was set up by Steve Nally in 1999. He'd returned from his OE inspired by the fine beer and cider he'd enjoyed in the UK and Europe, so decided to combine starting a family with starting a brewery. Using home grown ingredients likes Gladfield Malt, Central Otago Apples and Nelson Hops he set about making a uniquely Kiwi range of Craft Beers and Ciders.
