Story Straight Up Safety was developed in 2016 by Julia Johnston (Peck) to provide honest and professional health and safety advice and services. Julia has over 10 years experience in the Construction industry, having worked for a large Construction company during this time. This experience has enabled her to work in many sectors of the industry such as Quarrying, Construction Projects, Road Network Maintenance (NZTA and CCC), minor Forestry works and everything in-between. Julia has various qualifications such as; Occupational Health and Safety (Co-ordination) Level 4 (NZQA) Health and Safety Representative Training to Stage 6 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (NZQA) With the introduction of the new Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and related regulations , renewed responsibilities and duties have been placed on business owners. Straight Up Safety is committed to providing compliant health and safety systems, these are tailored to be as simple or complex as required by your organisation.
