About Run by Elle Isaac, an experienced rider for 20+ yrs, Elle teaches & schools in the 30m x 60m rubber chip/lime arena which is also available for hire Story Waipoua Pines is run by Elle Isaac, an experienced rider for over 20 years. Not being able to afford a horse of her own as a young child, Elle was fortunate enought to start riding for a local riding instructor back in the UK. This led to Elle being recommended to help school and teach other peoples horses/ ponies - mainly the ones that were green, young and/ or had behavioural problems. Elle rode at a range of different levels, focussing on dressage and important flatwork initially, but quickly moved on to showjumping and eventing. Elle's experience of riding and schooling many horses and ponies for many different people throughout the UK, led to her being able to learn from some of the best - including bringing a showjumper who had jumped at Hickestead back into work after a tendon injury! Elle teaches a range of abilities and also helps teach at the local Pony Club. She's happy teaching new riders the foundations of flatwork, which in turn helps to build with further riding skills for every discipline. Elle loves teaching a bit of everything and hopes to be able to pass on some of her knowledge and experience to the local riders.
