About We provide a safe and friendly environment so you can push the limits of your car. Story Ultimate trackdays gives you the opportunity to drive your own car on one of New Zealand's premier race circuits. Ultimate Trackdays provides our clients with a safe and friendly environment in which they can push the performance limits of their cars. We operate at Manfeild race circuit in Fielding, Manawatu, providing midweek trackdays and some selected weekend dates. Our days have a relaxed, fun atmosphere where you can hang out with like minded guys and girls, enjoy your cars by driving on the track, and drink great coffee! The number of cars attending is limited to 40 allowing our clients to enjoy maximum track time with fewer hold ups on track and less traffic. We operate two groups that rotate throughout the day - gold and silver. The silver group is for gentleman drivers, novices and those who are taking their first steps onto the race circuit. The gold group is a higher paced group reserved for clients who have previous experience driving on track. Group sessions are rotated with each session lasting 20 minutes on track. We believe safety is paramount for all our staff, clients and public who attend our days so we operate the following rules and strictly enforce them. No overtaking in corners No lap timing of any kind No racing 20 kmh pitlane and paddock area speed limit All cars must hold a valid WOF (warrant of fitness) or MSNZ competition logbook All drivers must hold a valid drivers license or FIA race license Crash helmets must be worn at all times on track Arms and legs must be fully covered at all times in cars. No shorts, or T shirts No Jandals, flipflops, high heels to be worn No drifting Dangerous driving, abusing staff or clients will result in removal from the day. All new drivers must complete a lead follow session behind an Ultimate Trackdays instructor. All drivers must sign on at race control and then attend a compulsory drivers briefing. When this is completed they receive two wristbands that must be worn at all times and they will be checked before each session before entering the circuit by one of our marshals. No drivers will be allowed on track without a sign on or briefing wristband affixed to their arm. At all times the vehicles are on track, Ultimate trackdays will ensure that there is adequate medical cover on site.
