The Wanaka Well provides help and support for families on their breastfeeding journey whether it is a journey of hours, days or years.

Mission
In years gone by, women of all ages would gather around the Village Well for their water. This meeting point gave them the opportunity to access support, advice and reassurance from other women. We recognise that mothers need the support of their ‘village’ and so we have created a community meeting point at The Wanaka Well.
 
If you like to contact the Community Lactation Consultant or Peer Supporter  support please message the Admin, call 0800560650 or  come along to our twice monthly drop in sessions to see a funded Lactation Consultant for expert breastfeeding help and meet with the Peer Supporters in a sociable, family friendly, nurturing environment, oh yes and there is cake as well.
