Story Methven Contracting is an agricultural contracting company located in Methven, Mid Canterbury specialising in Contract Drilling. Owned and operated by Millan Bungard, Methven Contracting Ltd was initially set up to service long-time employer Wright Farms and now travels throughout the Ashburton District including Methven, Rakaia, Barrhill, Staveley, and Ashburton. Methven Contracting operates a 2012 Horsh Pronto DC, a universal drill (set up with RTK Auto-Steer) suitable for minimum till, cultivated soil, or direct drilling into suitable conditions. Our twin hopper drill provides customers the option of placing fertiliser down the spout with the seed, which can dramatically boost yields.
