About North Otago Asthma Society promotes & supports people with respiratory conditions with the key aim to improve health & reduce hospital admissions. Story Asthma and respiratory diseases are two of the leading causes of sickness and death in New Zealand. The North Otago Asthma Society promotes and supports management of respiratory conditions with the key aim to improve health and reduce hospital admissions for people with respiratory conditions. The Nurse Educator for the North Otago Asthma Society is available to provide education and support to people with respiratory conditions, she also coordinates the weekly Respiratory Exercise Class held on Thursdays at 10 am. The services of the Nurse Educator are free, I am on hand to offer help and guidance so if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to phone 03 4343202 (0930-1500 Mon - Fri).
