About Kate's Kombucha - Papa Ora Creations - Flavours from a healthy earth. Story At Papa Ora, lush seasonal fruits and vegetables make their way from the garden into hand-crafted, small batch jams, chutneys and sauces. Papa Ora means ’healthy earth’. ‘Papa’ originated from Papatuanuku (mother earth) and ‘Ora’ meaning health. We brew kombucha with our squeezed whole fruits, using a double fermentation process to perfect the quality and taste. The fresh, simple flavours of the garden inspire our recipes and change with the seasons. Located in the Rangitumau Valley, Papa Ora celebrates its Wairarapa roots with locally grown, locally made products that capture Kiwi flavours from seed to jar.
