About Welcome to the Taupo Clay Target Club. Situated on the outskirts of Taupo, providing clay target shooting facilities for novices and serious competitors. Story Taupo Clay Target Club provides facilities for novice shooters and the serious competitors, and all in between. Situated on the outskirts of the township of Taupo, it provides a friendly and relaxed atmosphere for all that are interested in the sport of clay target shooting. Facilities include: 4 DTL trap fields 3 Skeet fields 1 Automatic Ball Trap field Sporting Clays, (including the famous tower) Compak Sporting Large car park and club rooms with a fire place for those Taupo winter days. Club day: 4th Sunday of month. Practice day: 2nd Sunday of Month Wednesday afternoon practice 4pm to 6pm (daylight saving time only)
