About The Whaka100 has gained the reputation as one of the toughest 100 km mountain bike martathons in New Zealand. Story the Whaka100 has garnered a reputation throughout the southern hemisphere as the best 100 kilometres of mountain bike event and is fantastic achievement to complete. Just 3 minutes from Rotorua’s CBD, the Whaka 100 takes advantage of the 140km of single track perfection throughout the Whakarewarewa Forest. The course provides a great contrast of groomed hand crafted trails to rugged back country mountain bike bliss. Whilst some compete for cash prizes or a category win, most riders come to achieve their personal goals among the world acclaimed trail network in Rotorua. 100km sound like a bit two much, well how about the Whaka50,25 ?
