About The Climax 1650 Steam Trust Board is the owner of steam locomotive Climax 1650. The Trust's goal is to operate the restored locomotive on Heritage Railways Story The Climax 1650 Steam Trust Board is the owner of steam locomotive Climax 1650. The Trust is part way through the restoration of the Climax locomotive, and intends to operate the locomotive on the Bush Tramway Club's heritage railway at Pukemiro Junction, Waikato, New Zealand. This Facebook page will provide regular updates on progress and will allow supporters of this locomotive to follow our progress. We are a charitable trust registered under the Charities Act 2005. We have NZ IRD Donee status, so any donations are tax deductible. We look forward to presenting news and photos of interest, and to progressing with the restoration of this locomotive.
