About Portuguese Style Dinghy Length 2.15 mtr (7’.6”) Beam 1.2 mtr (4’.0”) Story Inspired by the fishing boats of Portugal's Atlantic coast. I am building these pretty little dinghy’s using the well proven West System of epoxy & fibreglass. All boats are sealed with epoxy & painted with urethane 2 pot paint for maximum hardness. Only marine plywood & tantalised timber with stainless screws for fixing are used. The above methods will minimise maintenance. Stage 1: basic boat with bow & stern reinforcing & seat risers. Epoxy sealed Stage 2: As above with buoyancy tank seat & bow ¼ deck rowlock holders & anchor fairlead Stage 3: painted as displayed with a limited colour choice.
