I strive to help Paddlers be their best by helping them recognize their blocks. I happen to have the tools to help them be their best off the water too

Story
This page began with me sharing my personal journey through life and my love for the ocean and water. From the comments I have been receiving and support it has shown me the need for me to share what i do and I have now stepped up to help others.

My journey has been about making new stories for myself. Stories that help to uplift and inspire and getting rid of the old stories that held me back from being all that I could be.  Stories that held me in that 'black hole'. Stories that I used as excuses not to try. Stories that I used to keep my comfort zone small and safe.

I am now at a point where I accepted what was, what is and now know I determine what can be.

Sharing my journey with others has helped me to overcome depression and see the world in a new light.  
I no longer struggle with who I am. And that gives me the most peaceful feeling and energy to really drive forward and achieve my dreams again.

I love knowing I am a wahine Maori and that when my hauora - wellbeing is balanced all is good. I achieve this through my communion with nature, specifically the ocean. When Im out on my board listening to the gentle lapping of the water over my board it becomes my metaphor for healthy living and flow.

I am a mama of four beautiful children, wife to a supportive husband and an athlete.

If I can inspire one person then my job is done.  It is all about sharing and learning!
