About Christchurch based professional makeup artist specializing in Bridal Makeup. Story Making women feel beautiful is the best job in the world... I have a genuine passion in making New Zealand woman look their best. Faces, their many various shapes and colours fascinate me more than I can express, and my passion for what I do does not stop when I am off the clock. Makeup is my world and everything I live and breath. I frequently find myself imagining what makeup would best suit the lady I see in the restaurant or the mother in the park playing with her children. Before becoming a makeup artist I spent many years practicing gymnastics and was fortunate enough to represent New Zealand. Gymnastics taught be a great deal about self-discipline, professionalism and always aiming for perfection. I have carried all these traits and qualities into my everyday practices as a makeup artist. In the past two years alone I have done in excess of 200 different, beautiful, smiling faces. My sole goal is to make each person, be it the bride, flower girl or mother-of-the-bride, feel more beautiful than they could have ever imagined. I ensure my services are personalised to each of my clients and in no way rushed. Things you should know about me: •I'll always be on time. •I spend a lot of time following trends and researching the latest techniques. •My makeup kit is updated with new makeup every season. •I am very adaptable with my makeup and don't settle for one style in particular. •I love creating natural looks as much as I love full on makeup. •To me makeup is an art form as beautiful as painting and music. •I value communication and trust with my clients. It's OK to tell me you'd like to try something different. •I'm not happy until my client is 100% happy. Makeup should make you walk with your head held a little higher, your shoulders back a little further and a huge smile on your face.
