About Makoura Lodge, Manawatu, is a luxury, country lodge & venue for hire: beautiful weddings, parties, conferences, team building, accommodation & 4WD training Story Makoura Lodge is part of our heritage and ancestry. The property has been owned by the McIntyre family since 1896. It is a place we will always treasure and invite you to share our special part of the world. Whether you are up here for a conference, farm stay or a wedding there is something for everyone.
