Henwood Kindy is a nature based early childhood service in Bell Block, New Plymouth. For children aged 2 to 6 with all day sessions.

The nurturing of our animals, the garden, and sustainable practices are a valuable part of our learning culture. The essence of nature in our environment engages the senses, cultivates curiosity and creates wonderment and discovery.
  
Our unscripted curriculum supports emergent and enduring interests through intentional teaching and the infinite potential of found resources and loose parts.  We believe the child’s imagination is essential for self-expression throughout play and beyond.
