About Shalom education - First Aid / Resuscitation/Health Education Accredited by NZQA. Story Thank you for your enquiry regarding First Aid training. Here is some general information about the training we provide. Shalom education is accredited by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority under the provisions of the Education Act 1989 to provide Education and Training. We have Occupational Safety and Health approval and are listed with Ministry of Education in the gazette as being suitable for Early Childhood Education Centres. We are accredited to assess units; Number 497 Demonstrate knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements 6400 Manage first aid in emergency situations 6401 Provide first aid 6402 Provide resuscitation level 2 25459 Provide first aid for young children 26551 Provide first aid for life threatening conditions 26552 Demonstrate knowledge of common first aid conditions and how to respond to them Courses may be tailored to meet client needs but usually your industry or qualification requirements will dictate the type of course, including unit standards, you require. Student numbers should be more than ten (per day) and not more than twenty. If your requirements fall outside these guidelines please let me know as there is room for negotiation. Otherwise my minimum fee is for ten people regardless of numbers.
