About Far North Story We're a small club out at Ahipara, always looking for new members! Don't be intimidated, we're not flash like Piha, just keen to keep people safe on our beach. Our clubhouse is on Takahe Street, but we patrol near the public toilets by the beach during the summertime. Chairman Secretary and Treasurer: Liz Arcus Club Captain: Nippers: We have Nippers before and after the summer rush, every Sunday of the season at 10am until 12pm. We teach the Nippers basic lifesaving skills and try to get them comfortable in the water.
