Story
Located in the North Island of New Zealand, Dargaville High School is a decile 3, co-ed state secondary school, teaching students from Years 9 to 13. Our rural school has an impressive record of achievement in academic, sporting and cultural fields. Many of our former students have gone on to great success in the worlds of science, politics, business and sport.

Mission
Our aim is to provide a quality education to every student who attends our school. Dargaville High School encourages every student to develop and enhance their talents and we support them in a very special environment of care and concern. The relationship between school and home is a critical one.  Whanau members are always welcome at Dargaville High School. Their thoughts and ideas are valued and this partnership is essential for each one of our students to reach their full potential.
