About Welcome to IPL's Facebook page. IPL is New Zealand’s specialist petrochemical and environmental testing laboratory. Story Established in July 1999, IPL is New Zealand’s specialist petrochemical testing laboratory. Our Northland and Taranaki laboratories enable us to offer a comprehensive range of services to the upstream and downstream industry. We provide quality lab testing services and deliver accurate and timely ISO 17025 accredited results to a wide range of customers throughout New Zealand and the South West Pacific. We offer hydrocarbon, mercury and environmental analysis, and technical and analytical support. We have a committed staff of 50 people working with our customers to develop testing that meets their needs.
