About All Kaiwaka people are welcome to come and work in the garden - over the summer there will usually be someone there between 4.30 and 5.30 on Thursday eveni Story Eating fresh local food is good for everyone and good for the planet! The Kaiwaka Community Garden is there to make some fresh local food available to local people and to share knowledge and skills so that more people grow their own. Anyone can take produce if they can use it and anyone can come and grow with us. If you can use the produce you do not have to pay for it but you can leave a small donation at Jacques if you wish to. Mission To enable everyone in Kaiwaka to have fresh local produce either by growing it in the garden or by encouraging people to grow their own. To be part of building community by working together and sharing knowledge.
