About A Ballet and Tap studio owned by Kristie Aynsley and Tess Rooney, with classes for children and adults. Kristie uses the BBO syllabus for ballet, and Tess uses the Glenn Wood tap syllabus and also prepares students for dance competitions. Story Studio Owner: Kristie Aynsley Kristie Aynsley is Rhythm & Grace School of Dance's ballet teacher. I have taken ballet classes since I was 5 years old, and passed all exams up to Grade 6 in the Cecchetti ballet syllabus, continuing on to pass up to my Intermediate exam in the BBO syllabus, which is what I use to teach. My aim is to have relaxed, enjoyable classes for students of all ages and abilities, while preparing the girls for examinations. We celebrate our learning with a concert at the end of the year - always a fantastic event. Tess Rooney joined Rhythm & Grace in 2016, and has studied and competed in Tap for many years. Tess uses the Glenn Wood tap syllabus in her classes, and also trains her students for local dance competitions.
