Story
Hororata Primary School is a small contributing school catering for students in Years 1 to 6 in rural Canterbury. It is sited in attractive, well-developed grounds. The school roll reflects the growth of the population in this area and the quality of the education the school provides.

High quality community relationships are a feature of the school. The support provided by an enthusiastic Parent Teacher Association (PTA) reflects the high level of community involvement and the importance the Board, Principal and Staff place on community consultation. Both the PTA and the Board provide extensive resources and equipment to enhance student learning and achievement.
