Canterbury Central Saleyards Ltd (CCSL) specialise in livestock auctioneering and trading throughout Canterbury and the rest of the South Island.

Story
Coalgate has a very long history of being a saleyards township with the original Coalgate Saleyards being formally opened in 1898 by Sir John Hall. Over 110 years later in 2009 CCSL purchased the yards and have since then made significant upgrades including an impressive cattle weigh and NAIT reading system, larger cattle and sheep yards, on site offices and functional loading bays for transporters.
