Initially designed as an indoor sporting arena, extensive improvements over the years have resulted in us also becoming a very popular choice for meetings, dinners, weddings, conferences, craft shows, trade shows, expos and even concerts featuring international artists, From large scale events to small gatherings we have the space and experience to meet your needs.
As well as successfully hosting local, regional and national events in a variety of sports, we cater for a number of social recreational activities, sports and hobbies. From coaching children through to All Blacks training sessions, we can usually accommodate everyone. Regular competitions are an important feature of our unique venue, which is highly regarded by the local community.
Competition Terms and Conditions
From time to time the Edgar Centre (EC) will run giveaways for tickets and entries to events. In entering any competitions you are agreeing to receive email communication from the Edgar Centre in the way of winner notification and/or email newsletter. Winners will be drawn prior to the event and will be contacted directly and announced on Facebook. EC reserves the right to change the T&C's of any competition without notice. No correspondence will be entered into it.
The prize for the "Win an Epic Experience" competition is up to the value of $1000. Activities for which the prize can be redeemed are limited to those on the entry form (tennis court hire, basketball court hire, equipment hire, catering and refreshments, facilitators i.e. referees). The prize cannot be used to purchase tickets for third-party events (e.g. OceanaGold Nuggets, Southern Steel, season passes, special expos). The competition runs for one month, ending at 5pm on 29th August 2014. One entry per person. The winner has 6 months to redeem their prize(s). The Edgar Centre reserves the right to change the terms and conditions without notice. This competition is not endorsed by Facebook.
