I feel like a 1 star review is too generous tbh. I got full set of acrylics, with gel on Saturday afternoon just gone, from the pictures you can see the quality of the workmanship. I definitely won’t be going back. The older lady in-charge black Bob hair & glasses is rude & abrupt, and is only interested in taking your money and rushing you out the door. Witnessed her being abrupt and forceful to a girl of about 18, telling her something wasn’t included, and she had to pay more. Another lady had gone in for a repair, not unusual, but had only had her appointment recently. Seriously avoid. It’s expensive, and they’re not interested in anything else apart from your money.Service: Acrylic nails
Always happy with my nails. Kate, Daiva, and Ellie are all lovely technicians that take their time perfecting your nails. I always book online, as they are a very busy salon and I like to ensure I have an appointment. The service can sometimes leave a lot to be desired. But I started going to Eden when the first store opened years ago, so I know what to expect when I go in. You may get a few people doing your nails. You may move seats. You may catch management on a bad day. But aside from one recent bad SNS experience, which Mary and Zuzanna rectified, I haven't had many others. I have tried a few other salons in Thurrock, but they never leave me as happy as a trip to Eden does so I won't go anywhere else now. Update - December 2022 Just had my SNS extensions done by Ellie and she did a wonderful job of my Christmas glittery nails, really pleased with how they came out. Ellie took her time, and made sure I had the shape I wanted and that all my nails matched.
After recently moving home I was looking for a new salon. I’m used to going to a really good salon originally but while in lakeside decided to give Eden a go. When I got in the job was rushed, my white tips were not even , air bubbles in the varnish. Just no attention to detail. The manager was being mean to his colleagues. Noticed that he was meanest to the Asian girl and tolerated the white girl technician more. So seems his aggression is selective. They speak rudely to customers and are rushing them. They take payment upfront where most places don’t. Overall a very mediocre salon. If you want 2* star nails go for it.Service: Manicure
This was an absolutely terrible result. I had a pedicure and manicure about 3 days ago. The day after my pedicure the gel nail polish came of one of my toe nails. The gel nails are in terrible condition and are already lifting up after just 3 days on my finger nails !! I am utterly shocked at the condition of my nails, even the skin of my finger nails began to peel off. Do not recommend.
Thinking this place would be good, what a let down! Overpriced and unqualified standard of service! I paid more for just infills in here than what I do in my normal salon for hands and feet paint! I can see my own nails at the sides of my acrylics. The shape of them.....I won't even go there‍‍‍ Just overall a complete shambles of a place. I look like I have stick ons that have been stuck on by my 6 year old. Never again. Don't use this place! Stick to your usualService: Acrylic nails
The service here is awful, employees are unprofessional and rude. I had acrylic on my toenails and was left with short bulky nails. I was left but in no position but to go to another provider to have the nails removed as they were so horrendous. Will never use this nail shop againService: Pedicure
Do not use this place. I had my nails done a week ago. Not only were they very badly done - some short, some long and the tips slanted, I now have a nail bed infection which is spreading down my finger. I am in agony and am on antibiotics. They may have to drain the infection. Avoid at all costs. This place should be shut down!!!Service: Gel manicures
From start to finish my experience with this establishment was awful. I went along with another person for a manicure/pedicure for my holiday and the difference between how we were treated was astonishing. My technician spent more time on her phone and kept disappearing to the point that my friend had finished and had to wait for me. I had tips and a French manicure on my hands with a minimal flower design that another technician came to do. The design was poorly done, with my friend making a suggestion to define it. The technician then set it before checking I was happy with it, so had no choice but to accept it as it was. And had to pay £95 for the pleasure. Upon holiday return, the French manicure tips began to lift two fell off completely, so my friend and I went back to have them removed. My friend was treated well, just like the first time, shown to a massage chair and full treatment on her feet and hands done at the table. Myself on the other hand, had one technician start and when she ripped my own nail trying to file off the polish, she transferred me over to someone else to finish while she went to sweep the floor. They managed to break all my own nails in the process and was then treated to an 'under the table' removal of toe polish. And, this all cost me another £20. I will most certainly not be going back.Services: Pedicure
