Very nice staff in the weigh bridge hut. Maybe the council could run courses on reversing with a trailer, they would have a lot of potential candidates.
I arrived a few minutes after closing. There was a Staff member just parked inside the gate who I asked. He helped by taking the two car batteries for recycling. I was so grateful. Thanks mate.
Ok for what it is however more staff needing in recycling part as idiots park wherever
They had an issue with their payment system. It was 15 minutes of waiting in a queue of more than 15 cars trying to get out and more stuck in a queue trying to get in before anything was communicated to us, and half an hour before we were eventually let out. I understand what it's like when technological problems are beyond your control, but use some common sense and improve your processes so people aren't trapped on your premises without knowing what's going on.
There are recycles, greens and waste, three lanes. Only the waste red lane costs for dumping, minimum charge $10 for 50kg and below. Drive in on a balance and they will record your car plate and car weight, your car will be weigh again upon exit while you proceed to payment. Prepaid lane is available, you can pay online and drive straight out, to miss the queue. Can be very busy on weekends and holidays. Super friendly staff on site, helping out at the recycling areas.
