Very big Thank You!! to Barb and Dave from warblers retreat for the perfect Eco Nature Registry style wedding. Absolutely amazing grounds with so much immersive nature surrounding you. The Canopy venue is truly beautiful, the perfect private setting with everything you need. Our guests were very impressed! Loved our getaway at Warblers Retreat! Stayed in the cottage for two nights and it was just what we needed to unwind - total BLISS! Barb and Dave went out of their way to make our stay as relaxing as possible. From freshly baked warm bread so delicious! and a hamper provided for breakfast, dinner's cooked for us, beautiful surrounds for walks, pool & sunshine, we really couldn't ask for more. We will be back for sure and recommend to all who want an unforgettable experience. : Thank you!!
Warblers Retreat with its beautiful surroundings was the perfect place for us to celebrate our Wedding! This venue offered it all, accommodation, plenty of places to take photos, two ceremony locations and a space for a formal dinner followed by cake and dancing. Barb and Dave are very welcoming and made our weekend a success. We could not have been happier with our Wedding weekend!!
Amazing stay . Just 10 minutes from us in Auckland but well and truly a world away in a lush native bush setting. We stayed in the cottage which had it's own outdoor bath and the friendly Kererū drop in to say hello. The food, treats and thoughtfulness that Barb & Dave put into our stay was the best I've experienced at any B&B. I highly recommend it for a couples escape. You don't need to bring anything when you book the Stay, Dine and Forest Bathe experience. It's definitely one night of pampered luxury, delicious meals and half day to chill out and explore - checkout is midday!
My husband and both love having our getaways in our caravan, but this was a unique experience. In our caravan we could never experience such an tranquil location not to mention all the special touches. You can stay in a hotel room anywhere. This is so special and so New Zealand. You can feel all the hard work that Barb and Dave have put into this retreat to make sure everyone enjoys their little piece of outdoor paradise.
We had a 2 night stay over the weekend in 'the cottage' and it was more than we could have dreamed of. We wanted a peaceful relaxing weekend away without kids and being pregnant, this was the most beautiful escape. We lived in bubble baths, ate fresh beautiful food and enjoyed the bush walks. There was a fresh warm loaf of bread at the door every morning which was amazing. Barb and Dave were so accommodating and they have done an amazing job on the retreat. It's a dream
Warblers Retreat was the perfect place to hold a wedding. We felt completely relaxed from the moment we first met Barb, throughout the planning, and on the day. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful with lovely natural spots for photos. Look forward to visiting again and I would highly recommend.
My partner and I had a fabulous stay at Warblers Retreat, Barb and Dave are both consummate hosts and the Salmon was absolutely delicious. We stayed in the cottage which was perfect for us and everything was attended to. It was great chatting with Barb and going for a dip in the salt water poolRooms: 5/5
Idyllic, private, high quality accommodation just 10 minutes from Albany. The studio is extremely well appointed with a generously stocked pantry and freshly cooked bread. Private outdoor bath to relax and connect with nature, and top quality massage on request. Absolutely perfect for a peaceful, rejuvenating retreat. Highly recommend for solo or couple retreats.
Perfect location for our small wedding. Barb was amazing and made the entire process easy. We could not have asked for a better venue or celebrant. Thank you Barb and Dave for being so accommodating. We will definitely be back for our anniversary!Rooms: 5/5
