Helpful staffs and always keen to help. Trying best to workout everything to help rentals easier for customers. Variety of trucks and some new additions in Vans category. Rentals bookings so transparent on website and they even gave me a call back on cancellation and offer alternatives rather than just an automated email. Highly recommended. Pros- They have the Cheapest prices found so far Offers to park customers cars at premises Clean trucks inside out Prompt email replies Offers after hours drop off Cons- Limited Cusomer Parking spaces Negligible
My rating purely based on their process. An online booking done & approval confirmation received. Went into site next day to pick van up, and was denied due to a term or business rule that does not map back to their T&Cs. I pleaded my case to staff that technically due to no mention I should still be allowed, but was denied and left with I'll send email with my feedback. Still waiting on a response to my reply. Still feel I was wronged. Issue: over 25yrs+ was going to be charged 2k bond due to full license issue date. No where does this state on their policy other than, if your 21-25yrs section or insurance which relates to excess and not bond.
Great friendly customer service, fair pricing and reasonable insurance options that the team offered in a respectful way. Total cost was better than budget competitors when you factor in the better value insurance. I will be back.

Unfriendly service and zero courtesy or goodwill for a repeat customer. Have used this company previously but will not return to them. Charged for two days worth for a informed late return of around 3 hours. Would not recommend.
It is always a pleasure to deal with the team here. I was a bit stressed as I had to help my mum move house this coming Saturday and I needed a truck. I understand that the business was closed due to Level 4, however I tried emailing and got through to Alex. Alex was really helpful and supported me with prompt responses. Not only did he help with all my questions but he also suggested what truck will be the best for me to use. I have used them in the past for Hiring Vans and Trucks but always miss to leave a review. I absolutely love how they genuinely assist and have the best price for hiring. 100% Recommend them and will always support them.
Good place to hire Trucks easy to deal
Overall i was disappointed with the service and especially the Insurance Agreement of this company . Nowhere on the rental agreement did it state the Windscreen damage by a Stone being flicked up by another vehicle would cost $250.00 excess. If I had known this I would not have used this company. This made the rental price expensive. Surely the company have windscreen insurance. I will not use this company again and would not recommend them 5PM Eastern rentals stated they had a $3 a Day cover for Windscreen cover. When you take a Premium cover you would expect this to cover all vehicle Items. Otherwise why have it as the Premium cover? This was not offered on their online booking or when I confirmed my booking. Of course I would have taken the extra cover! Just Checked, NO Extra Cover for Windscreen Insurance offered when getting a quote or booking online. Shame on you Eastern rentals
If anything Eastern Rentals has improved their customer service, especially their receptionist Craig I believe is his name. He has exceptional customer service as their front line, from the time we booked for the Easter long weekend, he handled our booking professionally and was very friendly. Their Toyota Hiace was perfect, ran smoothly and was a good drive too. Glad Eastern Rentals have up their game with hiring good employees with good service, as I feel in the past I get intimidated with the owners staunch gestures. But either than that, Craig was the best! Look forward to using you again in future.!
first and last time i rent in this place. Office is disgusting , truck are poorly maintained, and staff that works in there except for the well behaved Brazilian staff looks like they are forced to go to work, 0 communication and blaming on customer. But this is what you get from here an initial attractive good price only, then ok customer experience and upon return, just get blamed by a 18 years old staff that takes all your bond to repair something that cost only a few dollars to fix, and then still own money even with the premium insurance, this is just stupid and ridiculous way of doing business. 0 apologies, no empathy for the customer, worst experience ever renting something except for the Brazilain staff, feel sorry for him. If everybody were more caring im sure this place will be much better, till then this place is an awful place to rent a vehicle. Stay away from it at least till customer service improve a lot !!!
