I just wanted a change from the east Bays beaches so cruised over on a Monday morning and got a run in on the beach with a tide out. Nice big park at far end plenty of parking big trees. I imagine this is very popular in summer time, so it wouldn't be my vibe, but it's perfect for families who want easy access to a very swim friendly beach.
Great place at high tide for jet ski and kite surfing on a great windy day. Safe swimming area.
Nice place to park up and listen to some music and watch the ocean.
Can get busy, a tidal ramp. Launch and return 3 hrs each side of high tide otherwise you'll have to go around point to bucklands beach!
Good serviced boat rampnThe only draw back is that it's not around the clock nor all weathernYou have to launch and come back in high tide otherwise you'll stuck in mud
