East West Coaches shuttle service operating via the Lewis Pass from Westport to Christchurch return 6 days a week – Sunday to Friday Shuttle departs Westport at 8am & arriving Christchurch at 1pm. The same shuttle returns in the afternoon departing Christchurch at 2pm & arriving Westport at 7pm.

The bus can stop either way at these designated places by prior arrangement – Inangahua Junction, Reefton, Springs Junction, Maruia Springs, St James Walkway, Boyle River, Hanmer Junction, Culverden, Waikari, Waipara, Amberely, Waikuku, Woodend & Pineacres with the final stop at Christchurch I site – Rolleston Avenue.
Drop offs and pick ups available at Christchurch Airport with extra charge.
Drop off / Pick up at Christchurch Public Hospital, Daffodil House ,Ranui House , St Geprge's Hospital ,Burwood Hospital.

Special Services :

Total Mobility Service – This service provides transport assistance to people with disabilities to a provision of $15 subsidy per trip. Vouchers have to be obtained from Buller District Council office with a mobility ID and presented to us to get the subsided fare. Bookings are essential

Children under 12 travelling with a parent gets a discounted fare. Unaccompanied children must be over 8 yrs old to travel themselves as per NZTA

Christchurch Airport drop off & pick up upon request prior to the the day of travel with an extra charge of $25 per person. T & C’s apply

Hanmer Springs pick up & drop off upon request with extra charge. T& C’s apply

Bikes & surf boards can be transported with extra charge bookings in advance. Maximum of 2 bikes & 2 surf boards can be transported

Free senior citizens pick up & drop off when travelling – strictly senior citizens with in Westport town only. Request while booking your ticket

Ministry of Health patients are also transported on the bus. Booking has to be done by Buller Hospital staff with a client ID
