We really enjoyed our time at the centre. The Sauna was wonderful & the staff were great. Meg was very friendly & welcoming & she showed us around the site & shared a bit with us about things to do in Ashburton. We wish Meg all the best with her career ahead, lovely lady with a big heart. We hope to see her again on our next visit to Ashburton. Was nice to meet up with her, she made our time at the pools memorable.
The life gaurds here are absolutely awfull. When the kids have swim lessons they kick the kids out afterwards and dont let them practice what they have just learned cause they to lazy to supervise them even tho im sure there paid regardless. Only experienced this at this pool complex. A real blemish on such a beautifull district.
Great facility.nGlad they have fixed the wringer for togs.nWish the aquasize pool was just for exercising. Like the rolleston pool.nNice friendly staff. Always helpful.
Got told off by this male lifeguard for wearing a bikini top and was told to cover up and dress appropriately, i was a minor and other people wear this same stuff
There are always pro's and con's for any facility depending on what your needs are. Sunday mornings for physio exercise is awesome for me but after work not so much. It would be nice to have the occasional adults only time with NO children at all but as above, you can't please everyone. We pick our times and hope for the best but for a smallish town, we should be proud of it and maybe some day there will be a move for an outdoor area.
