Very helpful team, shuttle lift to Clyde to start. Good enough bikes and although my gears were a little cluncky, it didn’t affect the experience and the bikes took it all well. It’s a fantastic trail and the views and landscape throughout are breathtaking. Highly recommended as an activity and this Dunstan Bike Trails Ltd were very good.
A great day out on a mountain bike, it was challenging not having an e-bike for the 2 hills but so enjoyable, exiting and had perfect weather that always helps. My wife and son rode with me from Cromwell to Cassick winery where we had coffee and a snack, as the route was going to be more challenging they rode back to Cromwell, which is relatively flat and I continued to Clyde stopping for water at the floating boat cafe. At the end of the ride there was time for a drink at the Old Post Office where we were picked up and shuttled back to Dunstan Trail shop in Cromwell.nThanks to all the staff for making the day go smoothly.
The crew at Dunstan Bike Trails could not be more accommodating. They set-up the bikes to suit our needs. We hired ebikes and they worked great, without any issues. The team could not do enough, making sure we understood the route and how to operate the ebikes.
The ride was freaking amazing, one of the best bike rides my wife and I have ever done! The flowers and thyme blooming along the trail, the climbs and decents beside the river were epic. Hemy gave us great help getting set up and the bikes were in top condition. We had lunch at the Post Office cafe in Clyde and then these guys shuttled us back to Cromwell. Super experience, you have to do it!
Very happy that I decided to give an ebike a go and it was a great way to do the trail. Hills are always going to be a workout but the ebike made it all just that bit easier! The bike was very comfortable, easy to ride and plenty of space in the panniers for the lunch, water and snacks, and the toolkit and pump were also included. I would recommend to give the lake dunstan trail a go. Great advice to make sure to take enough water and that you can fill up at the winery. Super helpful and friendly staff, they helped me out last minute to check brakes on my touring bike and then brought it on the shuttle to clyde for me, just lovely people, thanks for helping me out .
