Don’t judge a book by its cover. This place is excellent. Great coffee and made super quick. Fantastic big breakfast. The staff are super friendly. Really nice relaxing place for breakfast/brunch. Highly recommended.Dietary restrictions accommodatedNot sure
You can dine in there. A fire place was there too which is awesome. Hot foods, sandwiches, pies, and pastry items were available. Tea, coffee items are available too, and hot food, fizzy drinks too. Parking could be on street parking as I could not notice any designated parking which is understandable as per the location being Dunsandel. But, other side of the road there is vacant space u may park. Parking: On street parking available.
I would have given another star but….. We - 4 adults - had brunch at Dunsandel Cafe recently on a Sunday. We had GrabOne coupons which we were using. Welcome: excellent. A table was reserved for us, with 4 menu cards etc. all nicely set up. Flexibility: the staff listened to our requests patiently- including substituting poached eggs with fried eggs; substituting egg with potato rosti etc. All good. Wait time: The food came after a reasonable wait. Presentation was good. Quantity and taste was good too. The meals were satisfying and fulfilling. So why am I deducting marks / one star rating: 1. One of us got unwanted bacon on a vegetarian dish. Although the dish was replaced with a proper vegetarian one, it meant another 15 minutes’ wait for one person while the other 3 had their meals on the table. 2. After leaving the cafe, we realized that the pancakes which were supposed to have berries had zero berries. Our mistake too, that we didn’t realize while we were at the cafe. We called later and provided a friendly feedback to the manager/ chef. All in all, a positive first experience but for these 2 aspects.
Just a quick coffee/hot choc stop on the way south. A great little Cafe, with fast friendly service from a young crew who have it down. There's a good selection of cabinet food, cold drinks and a gift shop with artwork for purchase! Didnt venture into the outdoor area but would lovely sitting there in the sun with a beverage. Make sure you stop by if you're motoring down the SH1
10/10 the food was amazing. The pancakes were a bit on the expensive side but totally worth the money, tasted great. Also had the chicken bap? Which was super great too. The hot chocolate was really nice too.
I had the milkshake. More milk with a tad of chocolate flavoring. Eggs on toast and mushrooms. Service atmosphere great but the food a bit tired and lacking imagination. They could do mushrooms in a white sauce or put the eggs on a hash brown. Put a bit more flavor in the shake.Food: 3/5
Great experience, would definitely recommend and look forward going back.Food: 5/5
Lovely big breakfast here today, fairly busy but service great and food very good. Will visit again for sure.Food: 4/5
Absolutely disgusting coffee, when I handed it back I just got a shrug of the shoulders. Meat and gravy pie salty and dry. Do not recommend . Honest reviews are to assist owners identify and hopefully improve problems. Owners response in this case both incorrect and unprofessional. Ah well it is what it is.
Beautiful little cafe. food was amazing, a little pricey though and no amazing customer service, basically just standard service. outside seating are was grubby but inside had a beautiful atmosphere. was very warm inside though, some aircon needed in summer I think.
