From complete beginners to more advanced riders, ride one of our safe, reliable mounts, or bring your own (catering for everyone from wee tots right through to adults)

Lessons are tailored to you and your horses needs, confidence and experience level.


Holiday Classes:

These run Monday to Friday mornings during the school holidays, and cater for ages 7+, younger ages may be considered so please enquire, and adults are welcome too. We try to group riders of similar ages and abilities so everyone has a good time!

These classes involve
• Catching and tacking up
• Groundwork – safe handling of your horse on the ground
• Riding
• Theory – care, feeding, first aid and much more!
• Natural Horsemanship
• Groundwork
• Horse handling and care
• Hack
• Games


Confident Horse Handling courses:

These courses consist of three sessions run once a week for three weeks in the evenings, with each session 1.5-2 hours.

These courses involve
• Catching
• Grooming
• tacking up
• groundwork
• feeding

There is no riding involved as we are focusing on creating safe handling practices and building confidence.

While these courses are open to everyone, we are aiming this at adults. No previous experience is necessary and these classes are suitable for anyone lacking confidence or wanting to improve their horse handling skills

• Areas for hacking


Riding helmets and boots provided


Develop your riding skills and learn to ride effectively, with an experienced British Horse Society Qualified Instructor.
