Our daughter was married in the Leisure Lodge’s beautiful grounds and had her wedding breakfast in the conference room. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs and wishes. Nothing was a problem and the food was outstanding. Thank you for making our daughter and son in law’s day so special. Special thanks to Charlotte who was our go to and managed the wonderful team.
Had our corvette nationals there, food excellent, had approx 120 people there bar a bit slow but we do drink a lot, very helpful service great, thanks
Had a superb experience at Dunedin Leisure Lodge. The ambiance was inviting, and the staff was attentive. My stay was comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. Definitely recommend it for a pleasant stay in Dunedin. Safety: Never feel unsafe
I stayed there with my best friend and we had the best hotel experience that is comparable to my experiences with 5-star hotels around the world. The staff were ALL kind, generous, helpful and joined in with our hilarity. The food was simply divine, and the room service was excellent. Nothing was a problem. The room was warm, inviting and very comfortable. I honestly cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. We loved our stay there. The hotel is beautiful and the gardens are gorgeous. As someone who suffers from claustrophobia and anxiety, I dislike highrise hotels, this hotel was perfect for anyone who has that struggle. Walkability: Close to everything.
I stayed there with my ill husband and David on reception was amazing and got a wheelchair for us to use. He was so helpful. The other staff were friendly and welcoming. A great place to stay! Rooms: 5/5
Hardly heard a noise from the road, Awesome staff, clean rooms. Enjoyed our stayRooms: 4/5
We had a great stay here and would highly recommend. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The rooms are clean beds are comfortable and our back door opened out to a beautiful quiet garden. Great location right across the road from the botanical gardens also worth a visit. Then a 3 minute drive and your in the heart of Dunedin. The restaurant serves great food at reasonable prices with room service also available.
Didn’t love our stay. Some staff were lovely and others not so approachable and not wanting to engage with us. Could do with a more modern look and feel. Rooms could do with air conditioning as they were extremely hot and only provided portable fans. There is no lift which made carting luggage up the stairs tricky. Laundry is all the way on the other side of the building. Our room was dark and lots of highway noise unfortunately that can’t be helped. The hallway leading up to our room smelt horribly musky including our room. The room whilst it looked clean didn’t feel clean to the point where we spent most of our time out. The restaurant was amazing and the young lady who waited for us was very lovely and made our booking enjoyable.
A great location for visit purposes. Staff are friendly and helpful. Have stayed several times now and will stay again. Rooms are nice, and clean, although the tiles around the shower could use some exit mould. Had a room right by rear entrance door in most recent stay, so it was a little noisy as people came and went through the heavy, self closing door, but was overall pretty quiet. Restaurant meal was fabulous and easy. A good value accommodation.
