Dunedin Airport

Hi I had a wonderful breakfast at Chamber of Coffee Cafe. Superb. So reasonably priced too. Superb service with a full breakfast of bacon and eggs. It is surprising that this business is not listed as a separate business on Trip Advisor, after all the Airport is a Tourist destination. People need to know of such good cafes and food. Small but not regional sized for sure. Overall, was still pleasant looking inside, however there is a ton of construction going on right now that can make finding your gate confusing as well as driving around the front and not going down the parking lot ticket side. An Air NZ check-in baggage belt was also broken today so the lines were held up. Other than that, there's a handful of shops inside and I'm assuming at least one restaurant although we didn't stop to look. One thing I have to particularly call out in a great way is the accessible dual flush toilet buttons, best ones I've ever seen, that should work especially well for the blind.

Located 17 Km far from Dunedin city. So remote area with less traffic which ultimately enable commuters to easily reach to the airport. Spacious airport with all the amenities. Taxi service available . Ample paid parking available.

A very airporty airport. Good lounge and bars and lots of planes too. The gas station nearby is pricey so fill up that rental car early !

Great experience walking the runway. Go Dunedin International Airport for working with Rotary on this cool family walk/race. An amazing experience for all shapes and ages.

Pleasant. Good bar. Smells like nachos. No uber rank outside just go to pick up zone and order from that location

The airport isn;t very big but they do have quite a few things to do. On the top floor by the escalators there is a display with many animals in the region including a moa. At the baggage claim downstairs you can see a penguin looking at the conveyor belt. If you are hiring a car keep an eye out above the door since the hiring area is outside. As with other airports this place also has a souviner shop. There's also an area with bean bags and chargers where you can wait before heading through security. Quite a nice airport.

It's small yet still runs like clockwork. Had no problems collecting the Juicy car rental we had booked online and didn't have to wait for our luggage either. It's quite far from town though but it's probably better from a noise point of view from incoming flights.

Can security at the gate be any slower, not cool after a long flight.

Delightfully quirky but honest about it like the locals. Relax! A few quality shops, expansive view of the valley and reasonably comfortable seats. Charging stations for phones and laptops. Free public/open WiFi. Beware that many flights will board via the tarmac, and you definitely need an extra layer for when the icy wind hits you on the walk to the plane!
