A beautiful setting and if you time it right for sunset ask for a table on the deck..the food was top end in quality, presentation, price.. but most importantly it was delicious. Highly recommended for a romantic dinner date

Had dinner at this historical Hotel! We shared the Lamb Shoulder Roast and was amazed how tender it was. The waitress just pulled the bones out with ease! Really delicious food!

Very impressive old hotel. Excellent food and day friendly service. The half duck to share is great, although you'll want to order a side if potatoes to bulk it out.

Wonderful spot to catch up with friends, share a wine and tasty food with great views across the bay. I love the garden bar and the outside BBQ is a great idea. They often have live music under the trees outside which adds to the relaxed vibe. Good selection of NZ and local wine and beer. Staff are friendly and efficient.

We enjoyed the dinner menu so much, we returned twice. The best pan-fried snapper ever! Wagyu hanger steak was very tasty and the chocolate mousse dessert, perfect. Excellent service and a great atmosphere in this unique waterfront hotel.

What an experience this place provides. Great service, excellent food from vegan pasta to beef burgers to smoked chicken salad. Bar staff can provide suggestions of lovely local wines to accompany your meal The beautiful setting and story of the building make this a must do venue. Prices were affordable too

First time dining here. Love the atmosphere and ambience and lots of historical pictures on the walls. Service impeccable, great wine selection and food choices. I had oysters and calamari and my friend a seafood stew. Oysters were local.
