I had the pleasure of attending my son's Graduation Ceremony at the Sir Woolf Fisher Arena Due Drop Events Centre. Indoor and outdoor staff were fantastic, incredibly friendly and helpful. Food, snacks and drinks were available. This centre is suitable for wide range of events. Very happy with the overall layout of the Arena. There is a clear view of the stage from any seat. Seats, while comfortable, are not spacious. Toilets are clean and easily accessible. Ample parking and a brief walk to the main building. An enjoyable experience for the graduates and a lot of proud, joyous mum's, dad's, and family members making it a day to cherish forever.
Floor sitting is not worth it as it lacks elevation and comfort. My view is blocked by people in front. It is a little hot and stuffy inside on a nice cool evening outside. Saving grave is there is ample parking and exiting the place is well managed. Audio and visual effects are good quality
I recently attended an event at Due Drop Events Centre and was genuinely impressed by the overall experience.nnThe venue is spacious, well organised, and surprisingly easy to navigate despite its size. Parking is plentiful, which is a huge advantage for large events, and the location is convenient with easy motorway access. The facilities are clean, the seating is comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the event.nnWhat stands out most is how versatile the venue is. Whether it’s a concert, cultural event, expo, conference, or community gathering, the space seems well designed to handle large crowds while still feeling welcoming. Many locals appreciate the venue for its accessibility, family friendly environment, and the variety of events held throughout the year.nnThe only downside is that traffic around Manukau can get quite busy before and after major events, so arriving a little earlier is definitely a good idea.nnOverall, one of South Auckland’s best event venues. Well managed, easy to access, and a great place to enjoy everything from live performances to community events. Highly recommended.
I recently attended an event at the event centre in Manukau, and I was genuinely impressed by the entire setup. The first thing that catches your eye is the building itself—it has a very unique structure that stands out from the surrounding area. It’s modern yet reflects elements of local culture, making it feel like more than just a typical event venue.nnOne of the highlights for me was the large Māori totem located near the entrance. It’s beautifully carved and incredibly colourful, adding a strong cultural touch to the space. It’s not just decorative—it feels like a meaningful part of the venue’s identity and sets the tone for the experience as soon as you arrive.nnParking was no issue at all, which was a relief. There’s plenty of it on-site, and even during a busy event, it didn’t feel crowded or chaotic. The layout of the parking area is well thought-out, with clear signage and easy access to the entrance.nnInside, the halls are spacious and versatile. Whether it’s a formal gathering, expo, or community event, there’s more than enough room to accommodate large groups without feeling cramped. The acoustics were solid, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. It felt professional yet welcoming.nnOverall, the Manukau event centre combines practical convenience with cultural flair. From the ample parking to the spacious interiors and the striking Māori totem, it’s a venue that manages to be both functional and visually memorable. I’d definitely recommend it for any large-scale event or gathering.
It was a great place with great parking. It just really isnt ideal for high paying evening events. The Rock Orchestra was phenomenal, it was just frustrating that so much light was still coming through. Made it feel like I was at a school concert at first, until it went dark
