Duane Aarts is an amazing Mortgage Broker. I saw his reviews on both Google + MoneyHub NZ and they were stellar. He assisted me in brokering me in for my First Home mortgage. Duane is extremely professional, incredibly knowledgeable, crystal clear to understand and super helpful to navigate a home purchasing journey. He made the process as painless as possible, simple to understand for someone like me since I’d never bought a home before nor understood the jargon and secured me a very good interest rate + cash contribution package through the bank. I couldn’t recommend Duane enough for a Mortgage Broker especially if you’re a first home buyer like myself and I can confidently say I will be using Duane as my broker in my future endeavours and I would recommend him to anyone I could. When my partner and I began the process of building our first home, we were inexperienced, anxious and unsure about so much of the journey. Thank goodness I Googled "best mortgage brokers in Christchurch" and we found Duane! The extremely positive reviews were not wrong. Duane made the finance side of things so much easier. He helped us understand the home loan process and explained anything that we were unsure of - always in a simple, clear manner, never treating us as idiots even though I’m sure we asked some idiotic questions!. He guided us through the application steps and told us exactly what we needed to provide to ensure our mortgage was granted, and in a very timely manner. Anytime there was something we needed to understand he gave us practical examples so we knew what we were getting ourselves into with the bank. Duane’s tone and manner was friendly, helpful, and professional, and he brings a vast background of knowledge to the table from years working in and with banks. Duane also helped us secure a good result during a difficult time for borrowing, and I’m certain we wouldn’t have had the same outcome if we’d tried to do it all on our own.
