I have visited this place before, long ago and in the rain. I barely remember that visit, but today was bright sunshine and absolutely amazing.nIt combines two of my favourite things - Nature and History. A train ride through native bush in a tiny, rickety carriage that sways ominously on the bridges and travels claustrophobicly close to the walls and tunnels...nNo, it's great! Honest!nAnd the views are spectacular.
This was an incredible experience. The train driver/guide was both knowledgeable and passionate, offering fascinating insights into the area’s history, including interesting stories about the founder and the track's construction, all with a touch of humor.nnReally beautiful views and scenery, and you'll pass over seveal bridges and through tunnels. The vintage train, while old, is charming and enjoyable to ride. Along the way, you’ll also see some amazing art and pottery.nnTrain enthusiasts will especially appreciate this journey, and the view from the tower at the end is simply breathtaking
A truly special experience- I’ve been wanting to do this for many years and it exceeded expectations.nThe commentary was excellent from the driver and the views spectacular. Had a lovely coffee from the cafe and wish we had time for the zip lining!
A great experience, very friendly staff, full of knowledge and history.nThe train ride was fabulous - great scenery. We highly recommend. Thank you
Honestly had so much fun . It was pouring with rain but going through on the train seeing the beautiful hard work that Barry and everyone did was just phenomenal. The driver and host were so knowledgeable and so lovely and clearly passionate about their work too . It was very humbling going past and paying respect to Barry and I know he will be forever proud .It is so lovely to see a venue for people with such talents like pottery . We plan to come back in the summer again so we can experience it on a warmer day . Easily one of the greatest rail attractions around .
