First time behind the wheel spinning clay for us and we absolutely loved the 90-min beginners class. Greg the instructor was a great and patient coach ensuring that we got two pieces to take home. The picture is of our clay before going into the kiln. Definitely worth it to pay for the shipping as a souvenir. Must do activity if you're in the area!
Amazing pottery class. Ricardo was so calm and patient with us. You’ll be surprised how therapeutic the class is. Work steadily and you will be able to make a couple of items in the 1.5hour class. You will need to leave your items to dry and glaze and it will be shipped to you in 6-8weeks. Highly recommended!
We had an incredible experience in the 90-min beginners class as first time potters. Iza is a talented, patient, charismatic instructor who made our first time on the wheel so seamless and memorable. Being able to create two pieces with different techniques was an unexpected bonus, however I wish we’d been able to take one piece home, free of charge. Prepare to pay an additional $40 to have your pieces sent to you! I love mine so much though… totally worth it!! Thanks again to the lovely Iza and team at Driving Creek :
I was so lucky to have the potter all to myself for the wheel lesson! Frederick was able to share his knowledge in a completely natural way so I felt able to achieve something brand new to me without feeling self conscious I would make mistakes which included the clay flying off the wheel half way through! Thanks, so thoroughly enjoyable and inspiring
