First thing, you need to book a table before dine in, as this place is quite popular especially for breakfast. It has a good vibe with nice food and cozy seating. The food is in huge portion that good for increasing your calories. The service is also good, but remember, you can't spend too long here, even when there is no queue.
This American style breakfast restaurant was fine, but nothing special. They gave my partner a waffle with his brekkie combo instead of the pancake he ordered. My order was correct, but the hash brown was the least seasoned potato product you can imagine. It was crispy but chewy at the same time all while lacking salt and pepper. My omelette was good, and very filling. Overall just very okay.
Very tasty all-day breakfast restaurant. We visited during a very busy Saturday lunchtime but were promptly seated and our order underway. We didn't have to wait too long for our orders to arrive and the food itself was tasty and plentiful. I ordered extra mushrooms on the side of my order and was pleasantly surprised at the generous portion. Service staff were friendly and attentive. Would recommend.
Busy atmosphere. Cramped seating as we came a little late, so we got assigned the high chair seating area. The waitress at the front was a little dismissive as she assumed we knew where to sit and where to pay. It was nice to visit a place where the concept of breakfast was put into a menu as well as into a restaurant concept. Would recommend. Would recommend the Bagel of Champions.
Definitely the best US diner style restaurant I’ve been to in NZ. Love that you can get pouring cream which we usually just call creamer in the states with the bottomless filter coffee. They’re also amazing at refilling your coffee for you often so you never have to track them down for more. Super yum waffles and hash brown. Love the choice of condiments.
