John has a broad range of national and international experience as a lecturer, writer, filmmaker, broadcaster and public speaker. He has a BA (History) University of Auckland, an MA (Educational Technology) San Jose State University, California, and a PhD (Film, TV and Media Studies) University of Auckland.
