I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The only downside was room service coming quite late one day around 5pm, but it wasn’t a big deal.nnA special shout-out to Faith – she is truly one of a kind! So friendly and accommodating, she made us feel incredibly welcome. We had a great chat, and she even took an amazing photo of me and my friend in the lobby that we’ll treasure. Staff like her really make a place memorable. Would definitely stay here again
We recently had a 3 night stay, Mar'25. Yes it is a bit out of Queenstown, but we were aware of that when booking. However we enoyed, not only the tranquility, but reasonable priced accomodation compared to Queenstown. We had a King Lake view room which was compact but nicely furnished. Small but modern bathroom. All as it looks on their website. While it wasn't advertised with a balcony I did see one in a pic on the website, but was quite disappointed on arrival to see that it was taken up with an AC unit. We could have done with an extra chair to pull up to the window to take in the beautiful lake view. Honestly just pay the $16 per day parking and save yourself the stress and hassle of trying to get street parking. There is a lift to take you up to the motel.nWe found the accommodation to be good value for money and would definitely stay again. PS Not sure if some if not all of the Lake view rooms will lose the view as a small parcel of land in front of it is up for sale.
Hotel was great! Rooms were very clean and the overall hotel felt new and nice. It was great to get a lakeview room. I see what people are complaining about in the reviews for parking. It is a gamble to assume you’ll get one of the maybe 15 free parking spots. I would just go into it accepting you’ll pay the 16NZD for 24 hr parking and then be pleasantly surprised if you come across a free spot.
Lovely big clean well appointed rooms however I am not fond of the layout. It is too compartmentalized. I would prefer just one large room rather than a closed off sleeping nook and a kitchenette hallway. There is no table or desk. This is an issue. Well stocked kitchenette with dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, toaster, cutting board, knives, cooking utensils. Only one rubbish can in the bathroom so that was an issue while cooking. The refrigerator froze all my vegetables even though they were in the bottom of the refrigerator. Comfortable beds. Warm shower. No swimming pool! They will charge $20 to use the Hilton indoor swimming pool. Breakfast buffet is incredible! Best part of the place.nWater taxi stops here at 15 minutes after the hour to arrive in Queenstown 20 minutes later
Hotel was great overall. Was a nice stay but the breakfast lounge could use more staff. Foods arent being refilled promptly so when we were there, all the food trays are empty so we had to ask for the staff if they can refill it. Sophia on the other hand was a great receptionist!
