Visited as part of a photographic group. Busy bustling place with super helpful staff. Fascinating restored early cinema with exciting and surprisingly spacious interior. Worth a visit to bar for drink or coffee to enjoy the atmosphere of early film goer's experiences. See early projectors on display. Lovely first floor function room with large balcony overlooking the front pier and sea is being currently redecorated. Well worth a look inside bit of a hidden treasure.
Lovely old cinema, there are two types of screens, the main screen is a cool room, but the seats seem to be original so if you're watching a 2+ hour film it can be quite killer on your back. The other screens are a little more modern and the seats are great. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great value for money! Best cinema in Worthing.
I love the Dome Cinema. One of the few old school cinemas around that feels like it actually cares about the films and has a great history that's reflected everywhere in the building and foyer. Like all cinemas the snack prices are insane but the cafe offers reasonably priced drinks and has plenty of wall art/history boards to look at while you queue. It also offers a great weekend mornings deal where you can get cheaper tickets for family films. Taking the whole family for £15 is amazing value. Highly recommend for an old fashioned cinema visit and I hope it stays around for a long time!
What an amazing building .... So good to see it has been kept in near original style. Seating in the smaller screens is quite luxurious and so good to be able to take drinks from the bar into the seating. Great place to watch your favourite movies.
Wonderful experience! Seats were lacking a tiny bit of comfyness on screen 1. But won't complain because of the price and cleanliness. Staff were also kind and helpful.
Nice to support independant cinema and the tickets are a better price. Nice bar area. Screen 2 upstairs is cosy, leather seats. Never been in screen 3. screen 1 is very large they are old wooden chairs which aren't as comfy and the seats aren't raked! If you're in the back or behind someone tall good luck seeing the screen past people's heads without having to sit on the end of your seat the whole time
I love going to this cinema. The atmosphere is so much better then that of some of the larger chain cinemas. Always clean, staff always on hand to help and always with a smile on their faces.
This is a great cinema. The staff are helpful and the seats are comfortable with some rows having a lot of leg room. A fine place to watch a movie.
To see 'Amsterdam', no idea what it's about, but we do like the movies! There's about a dozen people, only, including us, in a massive auditorium with a huge screen and excellent Dolby, and a proper bar, and... I like it like this. Tell you what, it's horrid, actually, you should all stay away...
Lovely old place with character. Victorian I'd have said. Freshly cooked popcorn and surrounded sound. Directly on the sea front near the pier.
