Story

I'm Donna Rogers and I'm a local craft designer and maker in Whangarei, New Zealand. It all started 2006 when my daughter went to a beading shop in Whangarei and made a necklace. She wanted to start making jewellery. I bought her all the tools, then she lost interest, she was 12 at the time.

In 2007 I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, which rendered me unemployable and I lost my contract as a Licenced Private Investigator. Not being one to sit still I picked up my daughters beading tools and nine years later, well here I am.

I sell my crafty designs at local Whangarei markets, you'll find me mostly at the Artisans Fair, Canopy Bridge Whangarei.

I design and make a variety of gemstone and glass beaded jewellery, and my latest creation, "Funky Beaded Garden Stakes", adding funk and colour to your garden and now "Hanging Funky Garden Art". Each one is individually hand made and no two are the same. The large crystal on the bottom really throws the light around your garden. Great gift for that someone special or all year round colour for your own garden.

Please note that the clasps, earring hooks and findings are silver color not sterling silver, earring hooks are however nickel and lead free.
